Bulgaria Adoption

This program is: open
In 2004, U.S. citizens adopted approximately 110 children from Bulgaria. Children available for adoption include healthy and special needs boys and girls, generally between the ages of 22 months and 8 years. These children reside in orphanages.
See other Bulgaria Adoption Agencies.
Travel required: Two trips, both (if married) travel; both trips last about 5 days.
Singles accepted: Yes
Other: Restrictions allowing only childless couples to adopt a child under 3 years of age have been lifted, and all hopeful adopting parents may now apply for younger children. Post-placement reports are required for two years.
